accomplish as a Field Applications Engineer at TAPCO: The Signal and ITS
Field Applications Engineer serves as a key application advisor and
product advocate in TAPCO\'s rapidly growing Intelligent Warning System
(ITS) segment. The Signal and ITS Field Applications Engineer must be
able to identify and provide reliable solutions for traffic safety and
efficiency applications. The right candidate will leverage their
knowledge of available technologies to best meet the customer\'s needs
throughout the evaluation and installation process. This position
reports to the Signal and ITS Solutions Manager. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Preparing estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and
related customer documents, consulting with sales and purchasing to
determine those components required to meet a client\'s specifications.
Lead customer presentations and meetings to help drive sales by
communicating technical information, features, and benefits of TAPCO

surveys or work with field service to perform as necessary. Works with
external contractors and subcontractors to define installation
parameters and develop the scope of work documentation. Attend project
meetings with customers and contractors. Identify customer\'s needs and
sales opportunities to help future growth. Maintains expert level of
product knowledge and participates in industry training and
certifications to stay abreast of emerging technology and product
capabilities (may require overnight travel). Performs other tasks and
projects as assigned. Required Qualifications and KSA Minimum of 3 years
prior experience in technical sales, service, or engineering role Strong
Microsoft Office skills: MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook. Proven
