Job Description: We are seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our new aircraft and helicopter engine designs comply with DO-160 standards. This role involves conducting EMI/EMC design reviews, providing technical support, and developing models for interference coupling mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct EMI/EMC design reviews of vehicle electronic systems and components.
Provide technical support to product design teams, ensuring compliance with DO-160 standards.
Develop models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation.
Perform CAE analysis and simulations to validate designs.
Review and tailor EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance.
Plan and execute EMI/EMC testing to ensure compliance with DO-160 standards.
Analyze test results and implement necessary design modifications.
Prepare and maintain certification documentation to support the EMI/EMC certification process.
Ensure compliance with development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.
Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Experience with EMI/EMC testing to MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of radiation performance.
Strong understanding of development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.
Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
