  1. EMI/EMC Engineer (DO-160)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our new aircraft and helicopter engine designs comply with DO-160 standards. This role involves conducting EMI/EMC design reviews, providing technical support, and developing models for interference coupling mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EMI/EMC design reviews of vehicle electronic systems and components.

  • Provide technical support to product design teams, ensuring compliance with DO-160 standards.

  • Develop models for interference coupling mechanisms, shielding integrity, and circuit/cable interface isolation.

  • Perform CAE analysis and simulations to validate designs.

  • Review and tailor EMI/EMC requirements to meet specified product performance.

  • Plan and execute EMI/EMC testing to ensure compliance with DO-160 standards.

  • Analyze test results and implement necessary design modifications.

  • Prepare and maintain certification documentation to support the EMI/EMC certification process.

  • Ensure compliance with development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.

  • Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing to MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of radiation performance.

  • Strong understanding of development assurance levels (DALs), safety assessments, and verification processes.

  • Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft (e.g., FAA, EASA, TCCA).
