Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the Support Equipment Fleet Support Team -- E2C2 Division for the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will conduct engineering studies and analysis on electronic systems, equipment or components to improve capabilities. You will adapt innovative methods or approaches to solve systems engineering technical problems. You will test and evaluate newly developed electronics systems and apply extensive knowledge of systems engineering concept, principles and techniques. You will present recommendations to modify standard practices in developing innovative engineering solutions. You will address technical processes, procedures, practices, and requirements to support test engineering operations tasking. You will analyze test and evaluation methods or processes to identify deficiencies within electronic systems on the system compatibility, performance, or vulnerability of hardware systems. You will plan and/or conduct electronic engineering investigations individually, as a member of a team, or as project lead, depending on the complexity of the project and assigned duties. You will anticipate and take positive action on problems which if not identified and rectified in their early stages, would likely lead to serious consequences. You will participate in meetings and conferences convened to discuss engineering issues, problems, design, and/or development of new and/or upgraded systems and other similar matters.
