Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices against purchase orders or contracts.

  • Ensure timely payment to vendors while managing invoice discrepancies.

  • Maintain records of payments and expenditures for audits or reporting purposes.

  • Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to resolve payment-related issues.

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Generate and send invoices to customers for goods or services provided.

  • Track incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.

  • Maintain detailed records of accounts and reconcile discrepancies in payments received.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve disputes and inquiries regarding invoices.

  • Financial Management and Reporting:

  • Assist with the preparation of periodic financial reports related to AP/AR transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts.

    Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in an AP/AR role or accounting environment (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel for reconciliation and financial reporting tasks (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

  • Familiarity with compliance reporting and proper documentation for audits (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, for internal and external interactions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
