The Opportunity:
The Advisor Specialist coordinates operational aspects for Manulife Wealth; specifically supporting Wealth Planning and Practice Management. This position will collaborate with other departments (Finance, IT, Operations) to manage operational processes.
In this role, you work independently to assist internal teams in achieving their growth and service targets by providing support in key tactical areas. The Advisor Support Specialist is an individual who is highly organized, proficient with tracking and document management and is an excellent communicator who collaborates. They take initiative, problem solve, multi-task and are service oriented.
Key Accountabilities:
Program Support
Manage the advisor on-boarding process for new participants
Manage scheduling and registration for advisor training
Manage centralized email in-boxes including responding directly to advisors
Manage client billing and payment process for financial planning fees
Marketing Support
Own the online presence and content maintenance for advisor programs
Manage tradeshow and sponsorship requirements
Maintain and manage updates to all marketing collateral in support of advisor programs
Manage CE credit submission for webinars, workshops and training sessions
Track and manage registration for webinars and events
Provide additional support as needed with running events
Reporting
Act as the team reporting specialist running weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports
Utilize Excel to produce reports for analysis (i.e. data imports, pivot tables, V look ups, macros)
Maintain master program/event participant lists
Track and report progress on advisor programs, recruiting targets and participation rates
Maintain and update program participant records on SalesForce and act as SalesForce SME
Manage the central shared files and databases for advisor programs
Support leadership and advisors with recognition programs and tracking
Budget Management
Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills
Experience with managing multiple tasks and deliverables with varying complexity and competing timelines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Strong communication skills
Adaptable and resilient to change
A self-starter who can take initiative, be flexible and move quickly from one priority to another
Able to use discretion when handling confidential information
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to investigate problems and potential solutions with minimal supervision
Related university or college degree
Industry Courses such as Canadian Securities Course, Investment Funds Course, etc, are an asset
At least 2 years’ experience in similar type support role
Strong PC skills in particular - Word and Excel; ability to learn new technologies quickly
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Sharepoint are an asset

Salary range is expected to be between
$52,650.00 CAD - $87,750.00 CAD
