Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Inventory Management Specialist in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Positions will be based at global Army training site in Orlando, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing processes of TADSS/GFP products and supplies.

  • Controls the flow of supplies and equipment, tracks and analyzes inventory maintenance, and develops protocols for loss mitigation.

  • Interviews potential vendors and selects the one providing the best value for the USG.

  • Evaluates selection and shipping processes to improve efficiency; maintains currency with industry trends and updates inventory as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

  • Ability to obtain NACI security clearance

It is required that the Inventory Management Specialist(s) have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory management and logistics

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices

  • Ability to analyze inventory levels and make appropriate recommendations

  • Experience with vendor selection and management

  • Familiarity with industry trends in inventory management and logistics

  • Minimum of 4 years experience with Bachelors; 1 year of experience with a Masters; or minimum of 7 years experience with high school diploma or equivalent
