We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Market Area Leader in our Orlando, FL office.
As a Transportation Market Area Leader, enjoy responsibilities that may include:
Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
Project engineering and management.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
Professional society involvement.
We are considering candidates to join our team that meet the following basic qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
Knowledge of FDOT design and standards.
PE license in FL.
Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation a plus.
Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred.
Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
