Job Title: Construction Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to perform a variety of construction-related tasks, with a primary focus on fire watch duties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with insulation, sheet rock, and sheet metal, as well as proficiency with both hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
Performing fire watch duties to ensure safety on the construction site
Handling and installing insulation, sheet rock, and sheet metal
Using hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
Measuring and cutting materials accurately with a tape measure
Assisting with general labor and carpentry tasks as needed
Essential Skills
Experience with insulation, sheet rock, and sheet metal
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Ability to accurately use a tape measure
Experience in general labor and carpentry
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a construction environment
Ability to work in loud and dynamic environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment
The work environment is a construction site with loud noises. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including hard hats, hi-viz vests/jackets/hoodies, leather boots (composite preferred), and cut-proof gloves. Harnesses and lanyards will be provided. No specialty tools are needed, but having a 25' tape measure is recommended.
