Office Assistant II

Our work depends on Office Assistant II joining our team to provide direct administrative support as Training Support Staff members for the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering N7 (Training) department and support the Training Support Lead in the accomplishment of all assigned tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to, transcribing and formatting meeting minutes, preparing and submitting monthly reports and invoices, entering data and formatting documents, performing final reviews and quality assurance inspections of all deliverables, providing media design/graphic and additional administrative assistance as needed. Tasks must be completed efficiently and accurately to avoid rework. Excellent written communication skills are a requirement of employment. This is a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: High School Diploma/GED
● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
Training Support staff members shall be proficient in using the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio) and Adobe Acrobat to edit and format training course materials; write, organize, and track correspondence; schedule day-to-day meetings; and to complete various special projects and other assignments as tasked. This position is full-time, on-site at CSFE Port Hueneme, CA .

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.80 - $32.20. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
