Regional Controller East Europe

Business area Emerging Markets is growing and we are now looking for someone to take on the new role as Regional Controller East Europe within Business area Emerging Markets. We offer you a dynamic role in a challenging, international business landscape where you will be able to operate on several different levels in the organization.

About the role

As a Regional Controller East Europe within Business area Emerging Markets you will work with a wide area of responsibilities on a regional scale. The region currently consists of seven countries within both our Industrial- and Pedestrian segment. As a Regional Controller East Europe some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, being an important counterpart for our local finance organizations in regards of reporting, forecasting, budget, internal control and compliance. You will also be responsible for the consolidation of the region and work closely with the Regional Manager East Europe (dotted line) in preparations of business reviews, strategy, business cases etcetera. The role reports directly to the Business Controller Emerging Markets whom you also will work closely with being your finance counterpart from the Business Area.

We would like you to be close to our business, hence preferrable location for you would be either in; Prague, Warsaw, Bucharest or Budapest where we also have one of our local entities. As part of being close to our business frequent travels within the region will also be needed in the role.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you have some 3-5 years of working experience in a similar role or an international auditing firm. You hold a university degree within Finance or Accounting and you love the details and are able to see how they impacts the bigger picture. You are advanced in Excel and know how to use it in a business environment in order to spend most of the time on analysis rather than preparation. Good understanding of ERP and Financial Management Systems is needed (experience from HFM as well as experience from ERP-implementations will be considered meritorious). A good understanding of IFRS will also be required.

As a person, you need to be a proactive self-starter with a high drive who is also resilient and works well under pressure. You can navigate different business environments freely and possess a strong business acumen. You are fluent in English both in writing and talking.
