CTG is seeking to fill a Print Production Associate position for our client in Raleigh, NC.
Job Title: Print Production Associate
Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $18.84/hr
There is driving with this role, using your own personal vehicle. Valid US Driver's License and no more than one moving violation in the past three years. Mileage is reimbursed.
An ideal candidate will possess:
Customer service experience in time sensitive environment
Capacity to learn quickly in a new environment
Can operate as part of a team with good written and verbal communication skills
Print or graphic design experience
MS Office software proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Essential Functions:
Possess skills and competencies to deliver intermediate contracted customer requirements, including document assembly and finishing
Perform defined and routine tasks and activities
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Act as point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs
Operate standard finishing equipment (e.g., paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers)
Operate office/production equipment such as printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners
Apply asset tags to office equipment and update the asset database
Track and coordinate the move, addition, or change of office equipment assets at customer accounts
Clean and maintain office equipment as necessary
Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; log for billing purposes
Process basic forms and update information using a PC
Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product
Collect and submit meter reads
Maintain appropriate supply inventory and distribute as required
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
Perform quality inspection before, during, and after each production run
Sort and scan hardcopy materials for use in printed documents or digital format
Collect data and respond to equipment issues by contacting service personnel using specific PC applications
Operate high-volume printers and copiers
Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs
Track and store jobs as required by customers for reuse, including file backup
Inspect files for issues including fonts, image resolution, and registration
Index electronic materials to media such as CD-ROM, disk, or tape for reproduction and distribution
Integrate variable data files into printed format using provided templates
Perform file/document conversion using standard software
Perform operator maintenance on equipment
Maintain logs and records for billing purposes
Train customer end-users minimally on equipment as needed
May develop work processes or templates
May operate high-volume folding and inserting mail equipment
Skills:
Strong computer skills and functional knowledge of PCs (keyboard, mouse, etc.)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web, internet, and intranet applications
Ability to create spreadsheets, use standard formulas, sort/filter data, create graphs, and import/export information
Proficient in locating devices on networks and printing configurations
Skilled in using email, browsing the web, performing data entry, and file management
Basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
Demonstrates business maturity and professionalism
For first responder roles: basic MS Office, Excel reporting, web access, and printer connectivity/configuration
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment
Education:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
