Job Title: CNC Lathe Programmer Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe Programmer Machinists to join our prototype tool room environment. You will support production by machining H13 steel into punches and dies, handling changeovers per shift, and working with 6-8 piece lots. You will operate Mazak 2 axis lathe, 3 axis lathe, and live tooling machinery, using Mazatrol conversational programming. We welcome any CAM programming experience in conversational formats such as MasterCAM, SurfCAM, GibbsCAM, IGF (Okuma), Solidworks, Fidia, and Fusion 360.
Responsibilities
Support production by machining H13 steel into punches and dies.
Handle changeovers per shift and manage 6-8 piece lots.
Operate Mazak 2 axis lathe, 3 axis lathe, and live tooling machinery.
Use Mazatrol conversational programming to set up and operate machinery.
Utilize various CAM programming experiences such as MasterCAM, SurfCAM, GibbsCAM, IGF (Okuma), Solidworks, Fidia, and Fusion 360.
Essential Skills
5 years of CAM programming on CNCs, including writing programs from scratch.
5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of CNC Machining experience or Journeyman status.

Work Environment
You will work in a tool room with great equipment and a climate-controlled environment. The common work schedule is from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Friday, with 10-hour days and rotating Saturdays.

This is a direct-hire position based out of Royal Oak, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72800.00
