Foreman:
As a Foreman, you play a critical role in the field management of utility construction projects, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily operations. You are responsible for overseeing and coordinating utility construction projects, as well having strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality.
This position involves organizing and supervising construction activities, adhering to company procedures, working closely with the project team, engaging in physically demanding work, and ensuring efficient and successful project completion.
What Do You Offer Us:
Supervising and monitoring daily operations, planning and managing to job specifications.
Leading and supervising a team of utility construction workers.
Providing training and guidance to less experienced workers.
Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Coordinating equipment mobilization and demobilization as needed for projects.
Monitoring and inspecting work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Identifying and addressing challenges promptly, implementing effective solutions.
Maintaining accurate paperwork and documentation to support project requirements.
Demonstrating a commitment to safety by modeling behaviors and taking corrective action when necessary.
Conducting pre-surveys of job locations and verify that utility locates have been performed.
Managing and cultivating effective customer and employee relations.
Analyzing and resolving work challenges, promoting a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Securing work sites to ensure public safety, as well as the safety of equipment and materials.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
Coordinating activities with other trades and subcontractors on the construction site.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction are a plus.
Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
DOT Medical Card and Class A or B CDL required, if operating a company vehicle.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
In-depth knowledge of utility construction methods, proper use of tools and materials, and safety practices.
3-5 years supervisory experience in utility construction.
Proficient in computer skills and ability to use various software.
