Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in establishing objectives and developing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and timely work flow through candidate/associate life cycle.

• Partner with instructional design team on course and curriculum development of the programs.

• Develop relationships with home office and external partners to ensure Financial Advisors are benefitting from best in class intellectual capital.

• Monitors, evaluates, and reports on coaching program’s effectiveness and success through analyzing and reviewing performance reporting of engaged Advisors for program changes and enhancements.

• Plans, assigns, monitors, reviews, evaluates and leads the work of others engaged in providing administrative support to the Experienced Advisor Coaching Programs to coordinate training.

• Responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing program coordinators.

• Ensures the quality of educational delivery and results by developing and maintaining appropriate metrics and ensuring that post event evaluations and analysis are performed.

• Attends national conferences, as required, to supervise learning solutions staff and educational classes, including layout and set up.

• Collaborates with VP of Experienced Advisor Coaching to create and manage program operating budget.

• Facilitate training classes as needed.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications - External

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

• Working structure, policies, mission and strategies of the organization.

• Adult learning theory.

• Basic network infrastructure, sufficient to troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software and classroom set up.

• Concepts, principles and practices of the financial services industry.

• Learning technologies and systems.

Skill in:

• Planning and coordinating large training events.

• Managing projects from inception to implementation.

• Allocating workflow processes efficiently and effectively.

• Facilitating strategic planning processes.

• Aligning learning solutions with organizational needs and plans.

• Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets and databases.

• Identifying opportunities and taking action to work collaboratively

• Building partnerships with functional leaders throughout the firm

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and a minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience such as training, learning and development, coaching or program management.

or

• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications:

• SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied.

• Series 7, 66 or 63/65.
