ManTech Hardware Engineer in San Antonio, Texas

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Hardware Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.

  • Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors.

  • Ensure that problems with operational hardware have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user’s requirements.

  • Assist with preparing installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Perform engineering review of customer-submitted deployment packages to identify gaps and resolve any inconsistencies.

  • Receive, control, manage, coordinate and provide status for assigned deployment tasks via SERVICENOW and NLYTE.

  • Ability to rack and stack hardware, as well as cable a rack based on CRL documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years’ experience as a Hardware Engineer analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions or related positions in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional hardware engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication.

  • The person in this position must be able to crawl, crouch and bend to place hardware and cable equipment in hard-to-reach locations.
