Plant Operator
Location - Santee, CA
Pay Rate - $33-40/HR depending on experience. Training is provided!
Job Description
Performs all functions for safely operating at the plant.
Experienced with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing engines.
This position reports to the Area Manager and shares accountability of the day-to-day operations of the site.
Maximize production and minimize downtime with the utmost regard to safety, cleanliness, and environmental compliance.
Operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment required to maximize plant production in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
Maintain detailed records on production data, equipment operational hours, service schedules and equipment outages.
Check all operating equipment daily to correct conditions before failure occurs.
Perform all maintenance and repairs on the operating equipment including oil and filter changes, replacement and repair of valves, blowers, compressors, and other plant equipment, as necessary.
Participate in preventative maintenance outages and overhauls
Hard Skills
Previous experience working with Caterpillar Engines is a must
Operating, adjusting, and repairing equipment
Must have experience with CAT engines
Engine maintenance and repairs
Maintaining detailed records on production data
Gas reciprocating or screw compressor experience is helpful
Mechanical skills
Electrical skills
Handling compressors
Using Microsoft Office Suite

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00
