Theater Generalist -Per Diem

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Associate's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). In lieu of an Associate’s degree, two [2] years of directly related full-time experience or a combination of education and experience totaling two [2] years may be considered. Experience working in at least one of the following types of jobs: Ticket Office, Outreach Organization, Arts Organization or Theater.

Preferred Qualifications :

Two years of full time experience (part time experience will be prorated) working in at least one of the following types of jobs: Ticket Office, Outreach Organization, Arts Organization or Theater. Experience working in a Performing Arts Center. Experience working with a ticketing system.

Brief Description of Duties:

Work as hourly staff for Staller Center Operations:

  • Assist the box office in ticketing sales, and operations.

  • Assist the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery in installation, deinstallation, outreach, or gallery watching.

  • Work as part of the house crew for Staller Shows.

  • Assist the Outreach Director in outreach activities advocating for the Staller Center.

  • Work in the Staller Main office to answer phones and assist staff with daily duties.

  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:

This is a part-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.

Evening and weekend work may be required at times.
