Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Military Personnel Division (MPD), Madigan Army Medical Center Office Tacoma, Washington. Responsibilities Serve as a customer service representative for Madigan Army Medical Center. Assist customers with personnel matters and actions. Ensure the most current and accurate information is available in personnel systems. Responsible and held accountable for personnel actions. File all newly assigned personnel files based on the organization in which they are attached to. Coordinate and conduct the semi-annual Soldier Readiness Planning. Manage distribution on all in and out going correspondence. Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks of all staff file folders. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing various office automation systems to review or update personnel records; Validate personnel data for accuracy using standard establish rules, regulations and administrative policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
