Assure growth in talent and capability within the department to effectively attract, develop and retain talent
Implements talent management objectives including performance feedback, development plans, rewards and recognition
Provide inputs to the technology unit and/or business on strategy and risk management
Build effective interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams
Identify project expenses as well as capital expenditures to create budget that meets requirements for project execution
May have responsibility for a technical core competency in addition to functional management
Drive execution of technology programs within area of responsibility using rigor and scientific methods
Provides inputs on technical roadmap for upper management

B.S. in technical field
Proven track record with projects
Has led cross-functional matrixed teams and projects
Project management experience
Knowledgeable and experienced in a business from innovation through product
At least 5 years supervisory experience
M.S. in technical field
Experience working across organizations along the innovation stages
Global experience – able to function in a foreign country
Is familiar with Performance Excellence tools
