GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager Position 36000195, the incumbent assigned to this position is responsible for administrating training in the LMS, facilitate agency training initiatives, running reports in People First, recognition, and purchasing. The position performs policy and procedure development for HR policies and assists SMEs with formatting and posting of agency wide policies Attendance is an essential function of this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The incumbent in this position is expected to:
Be knowledgeable of the Lottery’s Responsible Gaming program, including the No Underage Play and Play Within Your Means messaging, and will ensure retailers and players are aware of the program and provided information, as necessary.

Uploads training into the People First Learning Management System and assists employees with questions regarding the routing and approval process.
Prepares and formats reports using People First.
Reviews, routes and tracks telework requests
Responsible for administrating the Lottery’s recognition program including monthly and annual service awards
Manage the documents and courses going into the Lottery’s LMS system and run reports for management regarding acknowledgements and completed courses.
Performs policy and procedure development for HR policies and assists SMEs with, formatting, and posting of agency-wide policies.
Handles special projects related to HR and performs other related duties as appropriate or assigned by management.
Attendance is an essential duty for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a Human Resource office
Experience working in the People First Learning Management System and/or using Articulate
Experience with formatting, reviewing, and editing policy and procedures
Experience working in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Teams
Other job-related requirements and authorization to substitute related work experience in lieu of post-secondary educational requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in human resource management, personnel administration or related field and two (2) years of professional human resource experience, OR
Professional or nonprofessional experience in human resources, business administration, public administration or communications can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
