Description
We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with monitoring business accounts and resolving customer inquiries, among other responsibilities, such as:
• Monitor business accounts for any past-due balances with direct outreach for resolution on open balances
• Create aging reports to track account status and monitor accounts
• Engage in outbound B2B collections activities, managing high volumes of accounts
• Resolve inquiries related to past-due accounts
• Provide assistance with other Accounts Receivable duties as necessary.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar
• Proven experience in business-to-business (B2B) collections
• Knowledge of various collection techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, showing initiative and commitment
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and targets
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
