*The Headlines:  *

As the Associate Graphics Specialist working in Toronto, Canada, you will work with the Graphics Specialist tohelp manage high priority internal projects enabling Marketing initiatives with a greater level of efficiency. You’ll work with Marketing and stakeholders across the organization to hone skills in providing analytical and strategic support, implementing initiatives and identifying process optimization opportunities. You’ll help uphold organization quality standards, policies and procedures. In support of the Graphics Specialist; collecting and categorizing samples, project management, administrative tasks and paperwork processes. Shadow Graphics Specialist; maintaining quality processes and engaging in tasks that develop their acumen as subject matter experts in graphics, color and print production.

The Responsibilities: _ _

  • Provide education to internal departments related to graphic production processes.

  • Prepare data and reports for management review regarding status of production load and/or graphic production process improvement initiatives.

  • Fulfilling IRI/Nielsen requests

  • Processing ZPCK requests

  • Preparation of primary packaging designs for TTB approval

  • Coordination shipping & handling of prepress material between stakeholders

  • Engage in reviews and discussions regarding existing and new print technologies and their application

  • Accompany Graphics Specialists on select press pilots and approvals across different substrates

  • Partner with Graphics Specialists on reviews and discussions involving prepress technology

  • Execute content approvals in FLOW, color approvals in hard copy format and press approvals based on approved standards or design intent

  • Management of FLOW routing workflow for graphic production department (administrator status)

  • Analyze and measure effectiveness of graphic production processes; develop process, workflow and improvements.

  • Filing of artwork color standards, proofs, and samples

  • Coordination of graphic resources for projects that involve ISC and Marketing enterprise initiatives.

  • Key service provider from project launch to production.

  • Creation of ISC initiatives in FLOW for routing and execution

  • Coordinates and monitors all aspects of primary artwork preparation for TTB approval.

  • Liase with contract brands to insure alignment with graphic production timelines.

  • Monitor and maintain all packaging formats for contract brands held within our internal server. 

*The Other Qualifications: *

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics, Public Relations, Technical Journalism, Marketing or other related field preferred

  • Basic knowledge of packaging print processes and substrates

  • 2+ to 5 years managing multiple priorities, coordinating process discipline efforts

  • Requires proficiency and high degrees of knowledge in the following areas: analysis, problem solving, communication, presentation, writing and computer skills
