Development Engineer III (Assembly) will:Create devices that will change
lives worldwide.Develop the assembly processes to manufacture new
medical devicesBe hands-on and create prototype devices for the
customers to test design capabilityManage the project deliverables
including specifying and sourcing materials, developing assembly
processes, and supplying finished devices to the customer.Troubleshoot
and modify processes to improve yield and manufacturability.Create the
assigned documents and execute qualifications to validate the assembly
process.Follow the established Product/Process Development Process
(PDP).Lead a cross functional team (including customer) to deliver
products as designed and within targets.Accountabilities &
Responsibilities:Adheres to Integer Core Value and all safety,
environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not
limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and
Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other
regulatory requirements.Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots assembly
equipment and process parameters. Produces prototypes and makes
appropriate adjustments as needed.Uses structured problem-solving
techniques and statistical methods for data driven analysis and
decisions.Applies lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
principles to the assembly process. Identifies and supports the
execution of improvement efforts to reduce waste in all manufacturing
and business processes.Plans and executes project activities across
cross-functional teams to meet established timelines.Prepares and
reviews documentation with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and
effectiveness.Participates in technical discussions bring insight to
problems and opportunities, while establishing strong relationships and
high level of credibility with customers.Responsible for the development
of documentation of equipment validations, test methods, machinery
standards and assembly processes.Trains Associates in the Engineering
and Operations departments on all developed assembly equipment and
processes.Actively seeks training opportunities to develop a further
understanding of process designs and thinks outside the box to develop
new processes to meet the customer\'s evolving designs.
PerformsEducation & Experience:Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical or
Mechanical engineering or related technical field.5+ years of
progressive engineering and/or technically focused roles and
experiences.Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may be
considered with 10+ years of relevant experience.You have a strong
technical and problem-solving foundation, and preferably training and
certifications, in a variety of problem-solving and project management
methodologies such as 6-Sigma, 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fish Bone),
Kepner-Tregoe, PMP.Your abilities to observe, analyze and develop
solutions to complex technical challenges result in the delivery of
break-through results in areas such as productivity, technical
