JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Multimedia and Print Center Operations is searching for a Business Operations Coordinator 2. Business Operations Coordinators coordinate events, programs, and services; market and promote products and ser­vices; participate in various financial activities; develop training pro­grams; create reports; and track the progress of projects; serve as liai­son with various University departments and community agencies; man­ages software systems and provide technical support.

Typical Duties:

  • Engage and meet with University staff to full fill desired printing requests.

  • Provide detailed instructions for production.

  • Follow-up on production operations ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained. Troubleshoot production problems when they arise.

  • Back up and assist customer service representatives in the scheduling, proofing, and approval of printing jobs.

  • Provide advice and estimates to prospective customers for printing needs. Respond to questions from clients via phone, email, and personal meetings.

  • Work with outside vendors to place bids through the Print Portal. Serve as Passport Acceptance Agent to walk-in customers seeking to apply for or renew passports.

  • This position provides customers with quotes and ensures the print projects stay within budget and are delivered on time.

  • Obtain payment information i.e. valid budget number, pur­chase order, credit card information, or other forms of payment.

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1+ years related experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
