IHG Finance Officer- Payable in Nepal

As Financial Officer- Payable you are responsible for performing the audit process and prepare expense analysis. Audit processing and timely payment of all the hotel’s disbursements. Prepare certain expense analyses. Prepare checks for all payments.

A little taste of your day-to-day.

  • Accounts for and audits all items on all purchase orders, receiving records, invoices, suppliers, ongoing shipment and suppliers’ credit memorandums

  • Prepares vouchers, including cost distributions for all suppliers’ invoice and credit memos

  • Prepares checks for all payments (other than payroll) and forward the checks, vouchers and all supporting documents to Director of Finance or Head of Accounting Department for Approval and signature

  • Distribution of petty cash after recording entries and verifying documentations

  • Verifies and posts accounts transactions to accounts ledger

  • Reconciles monthly statements and related transactions to verify vendor accounts

  • Maintains adequate up-to-date files for accounts payable records

  • Analyzes invoice/expense reports and records entries to charge expenses to accounts and cost centers

  • Wears uniform with pride and honor

  • Any other duties as assigned by the management

What We need from you:

  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Bachelor's in business studies/administration or any accounting related professional certification.

  • Proficient in MS Office packages and other accounting software’s

  • 2+ years total experience as A/Cs Payable Officer in any hotel properties

  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English
