AAA Mid Atlantic Account Representative, Membership & Partner Sales in United States

AAA is hiring for an Account Representative for Membership & Partner Sales to join our team!

The position offers a work-from-home schedule, however the selected candidate will preferably reside in the greater Philadelphia, New Jersey, or Delaware areas.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for prospecting, securing and maintaining partnership business on a local, regional and national scale, driving production and sales revenue for AAA’s B2B/Employer-Paid Membership Sales Program, integrated print & digital advertising products and solutions, and new, member-exclusive Discount partnerships. A major focus is placed on new business development with B2B Membership Sales, presenting, selling, closing and servicing qualified accounts throughout the Club’s territory to meet or exceed budgeted membership counts, revenue and partnerships.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet and/or exceed defined annual targets for B2B Membership, Media and Partnership sales.

  • Secure and maintain mid to large size B2B Membership sales contracts, integrated print & digital advertising solutions to targeted accounts in and around a designated territory, driving member benefit and spending potential.

  • Conduct daily/weekly sales development activity to prospective B2B Partners, advertisers and advertising agencies.

  • Identify target prospects, prepare and deliver presentations, and maintain client/prospect database, contract files, etc., utilizing available CRM platform.

  • Positions Club solutions within B2B Membership and media proposals for respective prospects and accounts.

  • Effectively prospect new clients via email introductions, phone/cold calls, video conference calls, networking/referrals, trade shows and in-person presentations when appropriate.

  • Establish and maintain positive communication and professional demeanor at all times with B2B/Group membership prospects, media and, Discount Partnerships, fellow associates and team members.

  • Provide pertinent prospect/account information and reports to Management & Membership support personnel and leadership team as needed.

  • Responsible for and assists with Client payment collections and related activities on representative’s accounts, striving to keep limited accounts past due.

  • Prepare and present business activity update reports to management.

  • Assimilate audience and market research data into sales presentations; suggest ideas for Membership sales and promotion of existing and new advertising opportunities (special sections, co-ops, etc.) in print and related digital media solutions to maximize audience exposure and client revenue.

  • Attend necessary sales meetings, trade shows, expos, etc. that present sales opportunities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/College degree preferred. High School Diploma required;

  • Previous Advertising/Media sales and B2B Sales experience preferred.

  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales experience.

  • Experience selling traditional media (print/magazine) and integrated digital media solutions preferred.

  • Experience selling B2B into mid-larger sized accounts with multiple layers of leadership/decision makers.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to generate sales leads, make effective presentations to decision makers and close sales.

  • Knowledge of publishing/print and digital media, B2B development, and related sales methods

  • Understanding of various digital solutions, including email/e-newsletters, online display, social media.

  • Ability to interrelate media and B2B/Group membership sales prospects and development.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, ability to work independently/remote and travel as needed.

  • Ability to utilize PC/laptop, displays, printers, networking equipment, CRM and related MS office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Driver License required
