Responsibilities

The Dietitian is responsible for assessing, counseling, monitoring, and ongoing coordination of patients referred for nutrition intervention. This position works closely with the Health Service Coordinators, Certified Diabetes Educators, and clinic physician and nursing staff.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $64,369 - $79,496 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required: RD from approved dietetic program

Preferred: Masters degree

Experience

Required: 2 years clinical experience, experience in education or Master’s degree from an approved dietetic

program

Preferred: KSC experience or ambulatory care experience

License(s)

Required: RD, LD in Texas

Preferred: CDE and CPR certified

Special Skills

Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred: Spanish speaking

Other

Required: Excellent counseling skills & computer skills

Preferred: Experienced educator

Working Environment: Office
