RESPONSIBILITIES

Certified in Shipping of Dangerous Goods per 49 CFR and IATA regulations
Able to work independently.
Ensures adherence to all regulatory and contractual requirements.
Ensure quality assurance initiatives are being observed at all times.
Perform regular inspections of the workspace(s) to identify areas/items/equipment/materials in need of repair, replacement or upgrade. • Report any unusual or problematic conditions immediately to the client with as much information and data available at that time along with specific recommended actions.
Collect data for reports and assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
Carries out and research requests with little direction and presents findings in a timely manner.
Utilizes knowledge of company culture, operations, policies, procedures in performing duties with minimal direction/supervision
Works with vendors to request service and cost comparison
Updates Standard Operating procedures as needed to ensure best practices are being deployed.
Assists with facility related tasks as designated by the client.
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the onsite team, Operations Manager, and client and prepare an agender and meetings notes for each meeting.
Manages inbound and outbound mail and shipments, light print requests, and reception.
Ability to safely move industrial gas cylinders and dry ice from point to point
Manage the receiving and disposition of laundered items such as scrubs and lab coats.
- Completing other tasks as may be assigned by the Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1-3 years customer service, logistics coordinator, office and mailroom related experience preferred.
Advanced customer service skills, professional attitude & appearance.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational, administrative, record keeping & time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
The candidate selected must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented with good organizational skills as well as have self-initiative.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
