The Unemployment Claims Appeals Specialist will work within the Risk & Insurance team to assist with resolving vendor inquiries, and remitting information to state agencies.
Your Success Profile What You Will Work On
Review unemployment claim related determinations to access appeal feasibility.
Case preparation for unemployment hearing; which involves document gathering and organization, employment law research, defense strategies and witness statement review.
Collect and prepare customer data and other sensitive business information to timely remit to vendors and applicable state agencies for unemployment issues.
Resolve issues/inquiries generated by our Customer Success team and internal ticket creation system.
Identify and track unemployment related trends to be escalated to managers.
Build out internal resources (help articles, training decks, etc.)
Support Associates with collecting, scanning, sorting and filing mail as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Principles, practices and procedure of general business including knowledge of the unemployment compensation system, filing appropriate responses, state laws and regulations is required.
At least two years of unemployment claims experience.
Experience with utilizing multiple systems and software programs.
Experience with all SIDES exchanges is required.
The base wage range for this position is targeted at $32.70 per hour - $35.97 per hour
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
