The primary goal of the Receptionist is to deliver a friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Dimension Data guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new clients.

Deliver a friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Dimension Data guests.
Provide a complete reception support service with limited or no guidance.
Take responsibility for the reception area, maintaining a professional and pleasant interface with visitors and/or guests, clients and employees.
Route emergency calls, forwarding them to the appropriate internal stakeholders, ensuring that the call reaches the appropriate person.
Perform administrative duties such as typing, capturing and updating information on the relevant systems and sorting of mail when required.
Supply routine, non-interpretative and simple information on request to clients and keeps updated on daily business activities to respond to and provide clients with current information.
