What to expect as an RN at Saint Mary Home
A Nurse at Saint Mary's Home is an active participant in care and leads the interdisciplinary care team to assure that individual resident’s needs are met, and choices honored. The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality patient care and is also a member of a designated care team and collaborates with team members in achieving goals. The Charge Nurse directs and supervises the care provided by nursing assistants assigned to his/her unit.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of CT.
Recent clinical experience in either long-term care, acute care.
Excellent skilled observation and teamwork skills are required.
Current CPR certification is required.
