What Would You Do?
The Product Manager will oversee the product development lifecycle, manage key projects, and drive innovation strategies to support Encore Performance Seating's mission of delivering high-quality seating solutions. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure products meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations
The key duties and responsibilities of this position would include:
Product Development:
Project Management:
Plan and execute product development projects to meet established timelines.
Coordinate handoffs to internal teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality, ensuring seamless transitions.
Product Costing:
Continuous Improvement and Innovation Strategies:
Identify and implement strategies to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
Develop forward-looking innovation strategies for future product development initiatives.
Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and translate them into tailored product solutions.
Attend industry trade shows and visit customers to strengthen relationships and identify market needs.
Provide technical support and address customer inquiries related to product functionality and performance.
Reporting and Analysis:
Produce monthly and quarterly sales reports focusing on key products, options, and revenue streams.
Analyze trends in product performance and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making.
What Do You Bring?
Previous managerial experience.
Minimum of four years' experience in product development.
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Mechanical, Industrial, or Product Engineering recommended.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in ERP system management to optimize operational efficiency.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement.
This role requires 15-20% of travel time, including attending trade shows, visiting customers, and attending project installations.
Work is performed on-site, balancing hands-on interaction with products and administrative responsibilities.
