This Hendrickson Co-Op position within the Advanced Technology Group
(ATG) is different than a traditional internship. The ATG Co-Op is ideal
for students that want to obtain real-world work experience while they
are in school. Co-Op opportunities are available year-round with terms
that may include Fall, Winter and/or Summer. These work terms may
alternate accordingly with the academic terms defined by your school\'s
required Co-Op curriculum.
The ATG Co-Op program balances classroom theory with periods of hands-on
experience to fulfill your program\'s graduation requirements.

interested in starting their career off right by gaining a much more
in-depth work experience that allows them to put the skills they are
learning in the classroom to practice in real-world application as they
develop. The ATG Co-Op will work independently and in collaboration with
Engineers.
Essential Functions
Assist in developing the fundamental scientific principles of operation
in product concepts.
Create mathematical models of product components & systems and analyze
their performance to determine design suitability for prototyping and
testing.
Provide design/drafting support for product layouts and production
releases.
Manage testing programs for suspension, brakes, air springs, and shocks
with in-house and outside testing labs.
Write test requests and coordinate availability of test
samples/hardware.
Monitor progress to ensure on time completion.
Develop test record filing systems and manage systems to ensure accuracy
and completeness of information.
Aid in completing lab benchmarking on general performance data (i.e.,
articulation, curb climbing, etc.)
Assist lab technicians in performing strain gauging, data acquisition,
and data reduction.
Support divisional prototype activities by working with suppliers and
internal customers to process prototype orders and requisitions.
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled student in an Engineering program
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in a 4.0 grade scale
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and ability to manage
time efficiently
Strong PC skills that includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office
and Outlook
