Personal Care Attendant Program Functional Skills Trainer - Hybrid Schedule - Hiring Bonus! Seeking a full time (37.5 hours/week) Personal Care Attendant Program Functional Skills Trainer. The Functional Skills Trainer works within the Personal Care Attendant Program. Job responsibilities: The Functional Skills Trainer supports the consumer in the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) program with the functions of employing PCAs in accordance with the consumer\'s need, authorization and clinical evaluation, in accordance with the MassHealth contract. The Functional Skills Trainer conducts face-to-face in-home visits with consumers to assess appropriateness and define the responsibilities of the consumer as an employer; instructs the consumer in the hiring, recruitment, training, and supervision of PCAs; provides training to consumers to resolve issues related to PCA utilization and payment; assists with and trains on completion of paperwork needed for payroll as well as other PCA management forms. Qualifications: \ High School diploma or equivalent required. \ Experience in human services preferred, preferably with the elderly and/or persons with disabilities or transferable skills. \ Desire and commitment to working with elders and/or persons with disabilities required. \ Bilingual skills a plus. \ Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. \ Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills required. \ Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word) and working within a database. \ Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have moderate physical mobility. \ Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. \ Ability to drive to provide home visits and attend meetings in the surrounding community. ? A hiring bonus will be awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 Days, and half at 1 year of active employment. The bonus for this position is \$1,000. ? No holidays or on-call ?
